“Lenski is ideally cast with Santiago Sánchez. He embodies the young man’s impetuous passion as well as the premonition of death in “Kuda, kuda…” before the duel scene. An important step in an upwardly mobile tenor career”.

Ralf Siepmann - O-Ton Kulturmagazine

“Santiago Sánchez is an impetuous, youthful Lenski”

— Die Deutsche Bühne

"Santiago Sánchez gives the tragic figure of the young poet Lenski beautiful tenor colours".

Bernhard Hartmann - General Anzeiger

"Santiago Sánchez masters both the lyrical (self-) infatuation and the dramatic radiance of his young tenor. His solo arias about his love for Olga and the time after his death moved the audience. Very beautifully sung and rewarded with applause”.

Santiago Sánchez as Camille de Rossillon

“The male cast impresses with playful agility and vocal stature, with Santiago Sánchez as Camille standing out with his instrument honed on Strauss and Belcanto roles, as well as his fresh timbre. The young Uruguayan-born tenor (…) is the positive card in the ensemble set. His duet with Valencienne in the second act is great Operetta art.”
